Whenever I hear someone stressing about a problem that is complex, I’m actually happy because there is probably a business opportunity there.
In fact, part of the value of any business is taking on complexity for clients. That involves systematizing, creating processes and automating those. The more you optimize, delegate and automate the processes, the higher your margins (usually).
Also, easy problems are usually tier-1 ideas and easier to find than complex problems, and thereby they usually have a low barrier to entry (so, more competitions, and more effort needed to dig that moat!)
The other thing is: most people assume easy problems are easy to solve. I think it’s counter-intuitive.
How do you solve a complex problem? By simplify. I believe the more complex the issue, the simpler the solution.
That’s why I strive to embrace complexity.
